Hello, the one, who will open this “time capsule”.
My name is Pasha and I'm an eighteen-years-old student of the Architechture Academy of Nizhny Novgorod. This university is one of the best in the city and it gathers different people with different interests and life goals, but still it is so easy to see the tendency of modern life even inside the walls of this university.
The world today, in the year 2009, it's the world of technology, it's everywhere and it develops very fast. Computers and mobile phones, which were up-to-date for example two years ago, are now like some prehistoric things. The world changes and we change together with it: our tastes, our goals, our style etc.
Today fashion is also a great force. It forms our life in different spheres: sport, clothes, food, relations etc. Many people prefer to wear clothes of famous brands like Calvin Klein, MEXX, Reserved, ZARA, DIM and others. People are ready to pay a lot of money in order to have fashion things. What’s this? Just fashion …
In our days people think a little neither about their health nor ecology. We often eat unhealthy food – different snacks like in McDonald’s for example. We live like in a proverb “after us a deluge”.
The same is about ecology – we built different plants and aren’t consciousness about the amount of damage which the environment suffer. There are a lot of animals and plants which are now on the edge of disappearing and probably to your days they will fully disappear.
It’s a problem, a great one … it’s a problem of our generation. We can’t appreciate all that the nature has given us. We just take it for granted. Hope, you’ll be more wise and will take into account our mistakes.
In my “time capsule” I put the most up-to-the-minute mobile phone – Apple Iphone, MP3 player and memory card with photos of things of our days and short annotations to them.
